Product Image Brief

Prepare a product photography or image generation brief with shot composition, reference handling, and factual fidelity checks.

Usage instructions

Inputs: Product references, true dimensions/materials/colors, channel image requirements, brand direction, and prohibited alterations.

Example request: Create a five-image brief for this ceramic cup using the reference photos. Keep the handle, glaze color, and dimensions accurate.

Workflow:
1. Record the product attributes that must remain accurate and identify missing references.
2. Choose the useful shot types: hero, detail, scale, context, and packaging. Explain the purpose of each.
3. Describe composition, lighting, background, crop, negative space, and permitted styling for each shot.
4. Write a prompt or production note tied to supplied references. Keep decorative props separate from product attributes.
5. Return references/image-template.md and a review checklist that compares each result with the real product.

Quality checks: Do not invent accessories, certifications, features, or material quality. No claim that prompts guarantee product fidelity. Clearly identify generation artifacts that require review.

Dependencies

No runtime dependencies. Reading local files is required; browser or spreadsheet access is optional where stated in the workflow.

Installation

  1. Download and inspect the ZIP package. It contains instructions and a reference template; no executable installer is included.

  3. Check that SKILL.md sits directly inside the Skill directory. Restart or reload your agent if needed for discovery.
  4. Invoke skillstore-product-image-brief with the inputs listed in the usage instructions. Review the generated deliverable against the included quality checks.
