Skill Use License

Scope of this license

This Skill Use License applies to original Skill instructions, templates, and supporting files provided by FreeSkill at https://freeskill.cc, to the extent FreeSkill owns or is authorized to license them. It forms part of our Terms of Service at https://freeskill.cc/terms. A Skill is an instruction and resource package, not a promise of an automated installation or a guaranteed AI result.

A package may include separately identified third-party material or open-source components. Their own licenses govern those components. This license does not grant rights in third-party tools, models, software, fonts, images, trademarks, reference materials, or data. Demo previews do not grant a license to copy or redistribute their underlying material.

Permitted personal and commercial use

When you lawfully obtain a FreeSkill package through an available free download, an eligible membership, an individual purchase, or an authorized grant, FreeSkill grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use that version for your own personal or commercial projects. You may inspect and modify its instructions and templates for those projects.

You may use the package in your own business and while producing work for clients. You may deliver the resulting reports, designs, websites, presentations, or other project outputs to clients, subject to any rights and restrictions affecting those outputs. This permission does not allow you to distribute the reusable Skill package itself to clients or other users. Do not share your FreeSkill account or download credentials.

Package distribution restrictions

You must not resell, sublicense, publish, give away, mirror, or distribute the Skill package, its reusable instructions or templates, or a modified package as a standalone product, public repository, competing library, or downloadable collection without our written permission. You must not remove copyright or license notices from retained package copies, present FreeSkill's original package as your own, or use our name or marks to imply endorsement.

These restrictions apply to redistribution of the reusable package, not to ordinary project outputs created using it. Private backups and private copies on devices you use for your work are permitted. Separately licensed components remain subject to their own licenses.

Membership expiry and download access

A version you lawfully downloaded while eligible remains licensed for your continued use after a monthly membership expires or an administrator-granted membership ends. Membership expiry by itself does not cancel that use license. Continued use does not grant access to new versions or additional downloads.

Every new download is checked against your current account status and access rights. Monthly membership lasts for its displayed term and renews manually. Lifetime membership has no scheduled membership expiry, but does not guarantee that the website, every Skill, or future downloads will remain available forever. An individual purchase grants access to that Skill and its subsequently published versions while they remain available, subject to the Terms of Service.

AI outputs and third-party rights

We do not claim ownership of your original inputs or project outputs merely because you used a Skill. This license does not establish that an AI output is copyrightable, unique, accurate, safe, or free of third-party rights. Your AI tool's terms and the licenses of your inputs and included materials still apply. Review outputs before using, publishing, or delivering them.

Breach, refunds, and required rights

We may terminate this license for a material breach of its restrictions after notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach where appropriate. We may act immediately where necessary to stop unlawful redistribution, fraud, or serious security abuse. If a paid transaction is reversed or refunded, new download rights may end under the applicable terms and law. Previously downloaded use rights are affected only as stated in the transaction-specific terms or required by applicable law; this page does not invent an automatic deletion mechanism.

Nothing here limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. A later license update does not automatically remove the rights granted for a version you previously lawfully obtained.
