Landing Page Brief

Turn a product description into a focused landing page outline, evidence checklist, and implementation brief.

Usage instructions

Inputs: Product, audience, primary conversion, available proof, existing brand assets, and constraints.

Example request: Create a landing page brief for a scheduling tool for independent consultants. Primary action: join the early access list. We have no customer testimonials yet.

Workflow:
1. List the supplied facts and unanswered questions. Ask only for missing details that would change the page structure.
2. Write one audience problem, one product promise, and one primary action. Mark unverified benefits and numbers as placeholders.
3. Outline the hero, proof, workflow, feature explanation, objection handling, and closing action. Give each section one specific purpose.
4. Specify the mobile content order, semantic headings, keyboard behavior, and image alternatives.
5. Return the completed brief using references/brief-template.md and a separate list of assets the owner must supply.

Quality checks: No invented testimonials, customer logos, prices, compliance claims, or scarcity. One primary action. Every numeric claim cites supplied evidence.

Dependencies

No runtime dependencies. Reading local files is required; browser or spreadsheet access is optional where stated in the workflow.

Installation

1. Download and inspect the ZIP package. It contains instructions and a reference template; no executable installer is included.
2. Extract the contents into $CODEX_HOME/skills/skillstore-landing-page-brief/ (default ~/.codex/skills/skillstore-landing-page-brief/) for Codex, or the Skill directory documented by your agent.
3. Check that SKILL.md sits directly inside the Skill directory. Restart or reload your agent if needed for discovery.
4. Invoke skillstore-landing-page-brief with the inputs listed in the usage instructions. Review the generated deliverable against the included quality checks.
